Gentlemen;
Just broke off an old, dry rotted plastic air line on the back of my air filter box and I can't figure out what the part number might be.
It has a 90 degree elbow that attaches to the backside (windshield side) of the air box. It is the upper one of two.
The diameter of this air line is very small (maybe .125" Dia.) and is made of hard plastic. Any advice?
Air box vaccum line P/N ?

If you can wait a bit I think I scavenged one of my 99 parts car that should work?

abscate, sure. Do you mean to say that an old part on a "99" (Saab ?) will fit my S70?

Get a generic replacement vacuum line that fits both ends, you don't need to the combination of rubber elbows and plastic line. Use rubber hose or silicone hose, just take the broken piece to any auto parts store and tell them how long it needs to be. This is a good time to replace all of the lines as they are 20 years old and many will be cracking and rotting.

Is this an N/A? You're talking about the vacuum line connected to the airbox thermostat, right? Since I airbox delete, I just capped off those lines and it's been fine since.

I parted out a 1999 V70 which should fit exactly. I'm not back to my parts stash until Friday thoughMr. Detail wrote: ↑20 Jun 2017, 07:43 abscate, sure. Do you mean to say that an old part on a "99" (Saab ?) will fit my S70?

Yes, this is a N/A engine. On the back side of the air filter box (side that faces the windshield) there
are two male nibs sticking out. The top line broke away. It had a hard plastic 90 degree elbow on the end
that attaches to the airbox. It seems weird that i can't find any diagrams online that show these two lines.

Read my post up above. In the included link, you will see three different Volvo diagrams/stickers that include the broken line you mentioned; it is described as "line #2" in that post and it runs from the airbox nipple to the vacuum tree. There are also detailed pictures showing how to replace it.Mr. Detail wrote: ↑21 Jun 2017, 19:52 ... It seems weird that i can't find any diagrams online that show these two lines.
Trying to use an exact fit to the factory part for that broken vacuum line, would make this repair much harder than it needs to be.
