So basically, i ordered the ECU, ? it just needs a 4.4 flash,new remap that will suit my setup under the hood and im golden? Is that correct? Ive only been a Volvo owner for about a half a year and was only fixing it and restoring it before any big tuning upgrades, so please forgive me if i dont know what im talking about! Cheers ! And a pic of my car!

Basically, you have it right. But I would go cautious on the remap, it's no fun bending rods.

Even someone with minimal experience would be able to flash the base tune no problem, which may be a good match for what you have under the hood. Nowadays there are many, good tuners around. As far as matching any modifications under your car's hood, you'll have to find out if your Estonian guy knows his stuff or not. It seems like it is hard to match a tune to a modified vehicle and get it right the first time - probably better if the tune is monitored in the car to test the match. Volvospeed users do a lot of tuning, check out their performance section if you want to learn more.

Ye, i know that B5204T(my engine) internals are not good as 2.3's but i would like to try to press out 247 hp, like the normal R has! not like mine italian version that has only 210, i read somewhere u can push thoes 2.0's 270 hp but it will be really tough on the engine, in the future il build a engine with forged internals and stuff like that! And the guys who tunes volvos in estonia, he has tuned more than enough of volvos, and he owns i think a fastest S60R in estonia, and everybody says he does a great job!
