What is the spec idle RPM for a 98 V70?

So as the title states... What is the spec'd idle (AC Off) RPM for a 98 V70 GLT with a B5254T?

I read in the posts that folks have near 1000rpm (where mine is), then I read others saying that they have 700ish (where my friend says it should be.

I would think that the ECM should be in control of it and it does maintain when the AC kicks in, but it is really never below 950 for more than a split second.

So am I worried for nothing or should I be on the lookout for a leak or other issue? I cannot find any reference to idle speed in any maintenance procedures, so I have no official reference.

Well, there is no adjustment, but I'm sure there is a spec. Is there a yellow emission sticker under the hood?

HPT (T-5,T-5R or R) & LPT (GLT) should have different idle speed.850 rpm should be for HPT.

I'm pretty sure the computer will set it at 840 rpm. It's best read with a OBD2 tool.

IT IS TOO HIGH. it is too high. I want to put it into neutral, at any stop. I have an auto. About 20 to 30 % more (fuel consumption) at stop in gear (AT) vs neutral.
