Custom 850 Strut Tower Bar Project

Making the 850 Turbo faster, brake better and handle better is my goal.

The latest for my Volvo 850 Turbo was the addition of a strut tower bar. There was a bit of challenge to it because of the components in the engine compartment getting in the way.

Here’s what I came up with. It really stiffens the chassis well. This is a mod that you should add to your to do list.

Wow, that thing is monstous in size and appearance.
How much time and money did you spend on it? I bought a brand new Volvo brace at the stealership for something around 80 or 90 Euros last year.
