A Deer killed my Beautiful 2000 V70XC /SE

I found another V70XC but it's not an SE variant so that means 15inch wheels instead of the 16's the SE has and smaller brakes. Has anyone swapped the SE wheels and brake calipers /rotors over the a base V70XC and what was required?

as far as the difference in the brakes, the caliper bracket is bigger, both cars use the same caliper

the 16" wheels will fit as they have the same bolt pattern, and the rotor from the se will have to be used

Along with the caliper bracket, the flexible brake line also needs to get swapped over!
Current Volvos:
1998 V70 T5, 112k sat 5 years, still in mechanical coma (finally at the top of the pile )
2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)

Killed?
That just looks like minor surgery from this end of the net.
There's probably a donor car out there with a blown engine
that would turn this into a simple weekend body parts swap.

Just need a hot iron and it'll smoothen out the wrinkles nicely :D

Sad to see it though.

If that frame isn't bent, I think I would call Erie for matching color parts and put it back together

Hopefully for not too many bucks..

This is a job of an hour or two to replace all damaged parts.

The front end is shot, wouldn't drive straight, the radiator /intercooler/condenser sandwich is crushed, broke oil cooler lines and trans cooker lines, radiator fan, turbo plumbing up front, tore up R/F half shaft boots.

My AWD has bad Angle Gear so I rear rear drive shaft. This '98 literally on has 100, 021 miles on odometer, the AWD is solid, the interior is perfect, paint is perfect and motor is good

It not just body parts, everything up front is crushed and I found a V70XC w/100k on odometer w/good AWD, even the leather drivers seat is in perfect condition. Most of all I'm too busy for ths t shit. I love the V70XCSE, I searched for month's to find a good one,

TY for answeringmy questions, if I remember correctly my last '98 V70XC had a smaller rear caliper w/smaller brake pads. The rear pads/caliper was a fixed caliper that had 2 pins and you slid the pads out without having to remove caliper from rotor.
