Volvo 850 moaning noise under 10mph
My 850 has in the last few days started exhibiting a low moaning noise that feels like it's coming from the left wheel area. The noise only happens after 10 mph and seems to get worse as the car gets warm. When I first get out of the driveway I don't hear anything but by the time I've been on the freeway for a bit and then come to a stop it comes back. Once I get past 10mph the noise disappears and the car drives fine otherwise. I can feel some slight vibration in the steering wheel too but again goes away after 10mph. Noise happens without turning the wheel just going straight at under 10mph. I've done some suspension work in the last couple weeks, new struts, sway bar end links, and inner and outer tie rods but this seems to have happened a week or so after doing all of that. I took the wheel off last weekend and looked at everything and checked my torque values on the fasteners and everything seemed fine. Not sure where to go from here any help appreciated.

Is it a rubbing noise? Could it be the dust plate is slightly bent and rubbing on the rotor?

I checked that it didn't seem to be making contact with the rotor. But it does seem to be a rubbing noise.

You did major suspension work. Alignment check first see if it goes away with that. Seems like tread noise from the tire grabbing/riding on it's edge. Eventually the inside or the outside of the tire will begin to feather and it'll get worse/not go away with higher speeds. As the noise didn't become apparent until about a week or two after servicing the front end the damage to the tire may already be done.

I did have an alignment done fairly quickly after doing the work. Is it a clue that the noise gets worse after I've been driving 10-20 minutes? To test if its the tire should I just switch the front tires?
