2007 fuel line disconnect

I have examined the fuel rail in my car several times and cannot see the fuel supply line. The Schreader valve is on the rail's left side (as you view the engine) near the P/S pump. There's an electrical connection on the other end.

I can't for the life of me figure out where the fuel comes from. I need to know where to break the line for when PCV service time comes along.

Does someone have an accurate schematic of a 2007's fuel system? ...a picture? I'd settle for an inspirational anecdote.

One glaring difference to my 2002 is the redesign of both manifolds. The intake branches seem bigger and the exhaust manifold is much lower down. The "non-MM" ETM is smaller.

Did you remove the cover from the rail ?

If you don't have vida you can see diagrams with a subscription to ALL DATA , I think I paid $30 yr.
Once I got vida I let it lapse.

The fuel line comes under the front of engine and comes up and goes into bottom of rail between #1 and #2 intake runners.

I've got the same engine on my 2005 so I think we are a match.

Alldata reports that there are variations on these connectors across models so you will have to sort out your specifically...hers a pic from Alldata

I think later engines don't require the tool, at list this is how it was on my B5254T2. B5244S I had in 02 V70 required the tool or a couple of thin flat screwdrivers.

Thanks for answering. This 2007 of mine has a few things "different" that other V70s and I've owned 3 now, a '99, an '02 and now the '07.

It has a steel gas tank with an internal, lifelong filter. The fuel line coupling (thanks jimmy57) has a torx screw on it and may indeed just have O rings. That would be a kicker, wouldn't it?

At the rail there is a Torx, retainer and o-ring. I think the fuel line dis connect is the two screwdriver type
