I got an all you can pick for $500 on a 1999 a while back.

I needed the exhaust CVVT cam and a rear tailgate lock - which were $500 new to start.

Then sold

All doors, hood, tailgate..delivered them on a flatbed
Starter
Battery
Turbo
All the relays
Window motor
Alternator
Radio
AC compressor
Air bag
Cat
Master cylinder
Brake booster

I think I paid for every dollar of maintenance and repair on all my Volvos

Or machine and rebuild them into 19T and sell them for a profit.

I still think you should build a quint turbo setup.

Btw., how much do you want for one of these 19Ts?
Zero. Consider I sold those years ago.

I kept bringing my dog to the junkyard and he was really a handful and out of control

Finally the junkyard owner told me " If you don't stop picking, he'll never heel...."

Was trying to do a rear wheel alignment and found my rear sway bar broken. Ran to the junkyard and pulled one from a 850 NA, the last car I checked. Felt kind of heavy so I got online and realized that it was an iPd sway bar. Couldn't sleep that night. Ran down there the next day and pulled the front. Just days before they crushed the car.

Every time I go to a PnP type place I seem to come away happy. Sometimes I wish I still lived in Chicago where they get newer ones in more often and I could get to them before they're already picked over. About 8 hours at the one in Blue Island IL... you get an email showing they just put one out you best get in the car and go now.

Yesterday went looking at a 99 S70 base for a ABS STC module, but no luck. Came away with an almost new pair of Volvo lower control arms (2 bolt) for $25 CDN each (less than $20 US), an almost brand new (still very shiny 99-00) top torque mount, and an aftermarket lower torque rod that is still very shiny, and a Febi crank pulley engine mount, each for $12 CDN ( or <$10 US) each. Actually don't need any of them but can't leave good parts to be crushed! Could have risked it and waited until Wednesday when there was a 50% off members day, but chances are parts would be gone by then!
