Need a 3rd row seat, 97 Volvo 850 GLT

I have been searching for a 3rd row seat for my 97 850 GLT. I have searched the entire web with out success. Is there a place on this planet that either aftermarkets them or collects salvaged seats?

Nope.
Just keep looking, they come in EBAY from time to time.
You can also check with a wrecking yard like www.erievovo.com.
They get them from time to time as the same seat fits 94's thru 2000's

If you get a used one of these, make sure it comes with all of the hardware- including the seatbelt anchors as I'm not sure if the dealer sells the individual parts or not.

I think they're still available but MIJ's right, make sure the seat comes with EVERYTHING

Check the website www.car-part.com. You should be able to find something there. If not, try ebay, but Erievovo's prices are usually awful.

Perhaps but everyone knows by now that 3rd seats sell at a premium since they're no longer made

they are at a premium.. used at $300 to $600 US if you can find them. If you can get anything less with all the seatbelts and fasteners you really have a good deal on your hands.

I still have 4 of my clients on the waiting list for them!

I know it's a little late, but I have been looking for the same for my 850'... (Which I have found through the local dealer installed in one of their techs' cars...

)

There was a set on ebay UK recently, but they were for a V70, according to the local dealer here they are model specific...
Anyone knowledgable care to contradict this and cite sources???

Nope.
850 and V70 seats are the same (I think)

I think you're right, at least until '01 then they aren't from what I understand. In '01 the dimensions of the rear cargo area changed.....so anything through '00 should be okay.
