Car is a 94 850 turbo auto with approximately 270k (odometer was not working when purchased). On cold starts, engine immediately revs to 2,000 rpm. Sometimes slightly higher. After a few seconds, idle drops to normal at about 750-900. Warm starts usually results in idle jumping to about 1,500 and the returns to "normal" after a few seconds. Has had this issue since I bought the car about 1.5 years ago. Now becoming annoying. Otherwise car runs fine especially given what I bought it for. Have removed idle control valve, cleaned liberally with brake cleaner and lubricated with wd40. Should I try a different IAC valve? Could it be the ECT sensor or is there a vacuum leak I need to track down.
