I love FCP - Why Buy Parts Anywhere Else?

I've been buying most of the parts for our 850 from FCP and was thinking of trying to
get a few more years out of the car. Then thought these all have lifetime replacement,
might be interesting to try to get to 300K or more miles.

I went to return front caliper cores and also brought rears from 2014 that had the
pistons frozen with rust - replaced no questions asked, no paperwork required. Also
brought the old DOT 4 brake fluid that I bought there and sure enough new can for free.
I had PCV parts that I bought 6 months ago but turned out not needing - took them back
with a smile.

I'm not sure if it is official policy but they have price matched every time I've asked.

Don't know why anyone with a car like Volvo, BMW, VW, etc. that are known to have
recurring problems, would buy their parts anywhere else.

And, by the way, they have a very pretty new girl at the front desk.

Living in Texas hurts the shipping costs. But for the most part is still cheaper than the parts needed. Im looking forward to sending my used oil back in a few months.

I've been buying from FCP for three years. Got my 96 850 GLT in 2014 at 274k, from my Mom. Am at 312,298 and she runs smooth as silk. FCP ROCKS!!

Stopped in today and I wasn't sure if they were making an exception allowing me to
walk in with returns and to buy. Stephanie told me that there is now an option to buy
on the website and to pick up, so it is official. She will text you when your order is
ready for pickup.

Yeah, they're usually pretty good, but sometimes they don't have certain parts.

Oh well. The vicissitudes of life and all that.

Definitely recommend them, though.

Im so jealous about the pick up option. The only solution is for FCP to open a Texas branch

A Canada branch out west would be good too! Shipping is a killer up here but they have one of the best value shipping to Canada I have had. Only issue is that some parts are not always on hand and delays then happen. Latest case is a 4 day delay waiting for parts I ordered to come in before shipping. That seems to throw them for a loop when that happens. Parts won't be here to middle of next week now as a long weekend up here. Fortunately parts were not mission critical.

Won't stop me using them though, especially with the warranty.

I wish they would open a North Carolina warehouse! I got an email the other day talking about how they offer pickup again. I remember not long ago someone on here said that they couldn't do it anymore since they didn't have permits to be a storefront, or something along those lines.
FCP is great though! I've been using them for a couple years now and I rarely buy parts elsewhere. Their customer service and warranty are hard to beat!

I walked in about a year ago and they told me something like that, don't remember exactly,
I was the one who wrote that here. They actually would not sell me anything that time.
About a month ago I asked if I could just drop off cores and they agreed, while
I was there they said to go ahead and walk in for parts.
I suppose they got whatever permit they needed?
I live about 10 miles away, am trying to eat more fish for health reasons and there is a
place that I go to 2-3 times a week for it in Milford. There is also excellent Chinese food there.

Oh, forgot to mention that Stephanie said her first car was a Volvo (850 I think)
and she has a new or newer V40 or 60 now something like that and she loves it.
