I think thats what I like about the cheap Bosch coppers..I might get recalled before 50k miles and I can't tolerate the idea of Scots flying down from Alberta and harvesting my good Iridium plugs and draining my used motor oil while he consoles my family..Every 50k is 3-4 year - perfect for a compression test on the engine.

Only time I had plugs stuck in the head was after an overheat.
I don't lube the plugs normally.

Yes but the design engineers account for it in the torque specs.

In some places subject to high heat thermal expansion you really don't want to use it. Brake hardware comes to mind. I wouldn't use it on lug nuts. Wheel Lugs/nuts are designed to stick/slip that last 1/4 turn or so to act like a lock nut. Greasing them defeats this highly desirable characteristic. The S60 a PO/mechanic had previously greased the wheel lugs. I caught it when I was doing front end work shortly after purchase and promptly and thoroughly cleaned it all away.

The decision is lube your nuts or not is personal, too personal, one might argue, for these pages.
