1999 V70R 320k miles (bad trans, no reverse) $800 OBO

It is a laser blue 1999 with a tan interior, the body is in good condition with no dents or rust (rock chips on the front though) and the interior shows the usual wear (320k on the car). The tires are pirelli P4s with about 50% remaining. New windshield put in a few months ago. It has a 2.4 of about 2001 vintage in it with 180000 miles and I have a 2.3 T8 engine that may be good (long story) with about 120k on it that will go with the car. Everything (except for the transmission) still works, the rear driveshaft is not in it but I have all of the parts, just did not replace it after the engine swap 1.5 years ago. I have some other spare parts left over (turbo and injectors from the original engine, oil filters, etc.). I am located about 20 miles south of Omaha, NE.

This was my daily driver until about 2 weeks ago when the trans went out in my driveway. It was in reverse backing out when there was a bang and then no reverse. Forward seems to work fine but I have not driven it to test that out.

Any updates on this car? Seller is a gazillion miles away from me but never know, have to look up Uhaul prices and go from there!

it is still available but I (and some others) are getting tired of looking at it in the driveway. Let me know if you are interested, depending on what is wrong in the trans you might be able to drive it home as long as you do not need to back up but that would be a bit of a gamble. I have not moved it more than 30 feet or so since the reverse failure.
