Replace a inner tie rod on a 94 940 Wagon

Replace a inner tie rod on a 94 940 Wagon

How am I to hold onto the inner tie rod to unscrew it if there is no flat edges at the swivel point? normally there is two flat spots for the specialty tool thats used. Please help Michael
