Yeah,
That metal adhesive WILL be a nightmare when you need to remove the axle in the future.
For the last 10 years, I have been using Permatex Anti-Seize with zero issues.
Removal is a breeze if you use anti-seize.

Wouldn't be the first thing that got sort of lost in translation. "Position Light" comes to mind which is confusing to people in North America. I'm sure by now Volvo knows we call those "Tail Lights" here but for some unknown quirky reason they've stuck with it...as if the DIM performs some sort of alien abduction memory wipe and Volvo owners & technicians forget the common native terminology.

Apply anti-sieze on clean axle splines. No products of any type anywhere else - except red thread locker is recommended on the bolts that hold the caliper brackets to the knuckle. I also use a VERY light coating of grease between the bearing and the rotor and the rotor and the wheel. That prevents those parts from rusting together.
Get four new Volvo torque to yield bolts to hold the bearing to the knuckle.
Check all torque values.
Done.
