Jumps at normal speed driving,

While driving on the road seems to jump periodically could it be a vacuum leak

Not the normal manifestation of a vacuum leak. More likely a fuel pressure or spark thing. How old are your plugs, wires, cap, rotor.
Any problems with starting? longer to crank than before? When was your filter last changed? Gas from a different station than usual?

And before anyone else says it. Unless you recently stage zeroed your car, you will find vacuum leaks, but this doesn't sound like that.
Current Volvos:
1998 V70 T5, 112k sat 5 years, still in mechanical coma (finally at the top of the pile )
2004 XC90 T6 AWD: 186k, 60 on transaxle ( traded in )
1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)

When you say jump, do you mean the RPMs jump up, or the car "bucks?" It could be many different things.
Definitely check your plugs and the rest of the ignition system as well as replace your fuel filter if it hasn't been done in a long while, like FLXC90 said.
My car tends to have a little stutter while cruising every now and again. I don't know what it is, but the only thing I can maybe attribute it to is a possible evap leak.
