The radiator fan on my 99 S80 wont turn off. Even if the engine is stone cold. I have to unplug the pigtail at the fan to shut it off. As soon as I plug the pigtail together the fan starts up. I'm leaning towards the fan assembly that has the control module attached. There are no codes.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris

That's my same thought. I was able to locate a replacement at a local pick & pull. The donor was a V70 Cross Country that its owner junked her because she wouldn't start. Go figure.
I'll keep you posted after the install.
Thanks
Chris

Replaced the Radiator Fan assembly and the problem is solved. Only one Volvo in the Pick & Pull yard and I got lucky. The donor car was a 2001 V70 Cross Country. The owner junked it because she wouldn't start
Thanks for your help.
