Electrical Noise coming from behind Headlight switch.

Post by Tubbs76 »

Over the weekend, started hearing an electrical noise and it seems to be coming from behind the headlight switch. Kind of makes a running current noise and also increases with engine revs.

As I accelerate, the noise increase with revs / speed and lowers as slowing down or coming to a stop. Any ideas on what all of a sudden could be causing this? Relay, headlight switch itself? I know there are lots of fuses and relay behind the headlight switch. Any one experienced this before that may be able to point me in the right direction? All help appreciated.

Somehow the cable for the boot release under the foot well had some how managed to move itself and was touching the wires underneath, Causing the noise, took a while to figure it out, took a while to figure it out and trace it but solved.
