XC90 front drivers' seat question?

I've heard the seats in the XC90 are fairly interchangeable between years. I'm wondering if maybe someone procured some seats from a wrecked 2014 or something and transplanted them into what you drove (wouldn't that be nice).

I am not familiar with the term SPA. Is that the name for the current generation of XC90 4 cylinder, and S/V90? The second paragraph does that mean the gen 1 XC90 from 03-14? If that is the case, that may be what I saw.

Hello I'm a newbie to this site. I just made arrangements to buy a certified, e-tested, serviced 2004 XC-90 from a reputable dealer and friend of 20 some years. He has given me permission to cannibalize some parts cars. Question; will the front buckets from a 70 XC fit the 90 XC, and are the electronics similar? This is my 2nd Volvo. My 1st of 2 years was a '06 70 XC. A driver who was charged, tried to T-bone me. He hit my rear quarter and wheel. Insurance wrote it off and settled with me quite fairly, considering that "Valkyrie" had 286000 + Kliks on her and she was running very well. I was able to swerve away from the fool who hit me. At no time was my car ever out of control nor out of my lane, even though we were knocked through 180'. Sorry about my short story. Skol!

I have access to front seats from a XC 70. Is this a possible swap into my XC90, its seats up front are in poor condition?
