Parking light repair

Problem

I replaced both Headlight assemblies because my reflectors had become frosty instead of mirror like.
18 year old tabs on parking lights did not survive the operation. As I had just put a lot of money in the car, I wired it up to keep going down the road.

Drill hole in tab nearesr the front door with a tiny drill bit.

Thread long piece of 28 gauge wire through it

Thread wire through fender to latch attachment bolts. Loosen a bolt and wind the wire around it. Tighten bolt to hold it.

I left a long piece of wire to help me remember what I did 5 years from now.

Back where she belongs. Locked and loaded.

Got TYC brand headlight assemblies from Amazon. Great quality...even has OEM like glass lenses like the Hella.

Nice job! Looks very good! I might tell my cousin to do this to his car... his 3rd passenger side turn signal just let go last week.

Nice, just wish it wasn't double the price of the regular fluted ones...
