Hi, everyone I am come to this site in help for a semi-serious problem. I am in the process of buying an '89 non turbo 740 with a 4cyl engine off the Internet.
The price is right and the body is in great shape, but the engine won't stay running!
The seller is trying his best to get it running, but he is having some issues. Apparently he thinks it's something called MAF, but he's not sure. He sent me a video but I guess I can't attach a video. And I am checking with some of my friends who have Volvos who might also be able to help.
I'm supposed to go look at it on Monday. I really want to get this thing running! Can you offer any insight or things to start checking? Thanks.
