P0133 + p0422 stall
My 98 v70 t5 I pulled out of garage and it chugged quickly like it was about to die, I had my code reader and plugged it in with no codes shown. About 20 mins later sitting in the drive thru at McDonald's it stalled. Restarted right away but had to be revved a little to smooth out the idle. Plugged code reader back in and showed p0133 + p0422 that weren't there before but the light wasn't on just stored codes. I've never seen a stall or chug from a bad o2 on any other car, is this o2 related? Or some other issue? Any help is appreciated

Is this a previously unused car or is it a daily driver??
A bad O2 can cause a bad idle but its more likely crumbling hoses - same for that EVAP code 0442

It's code 422 not 442, but yes it has sat for 6-8 months because it did this before, I recently replaced all the vacuum lines, full tune up, tcv, all the lines are good with no leaks, even repaired the hard plastic tube for pcv and I have no exhaust, fluid, or intake leaks minus slight heater core smell. I ordered an o2 since it likely has 193k miles on it but I've never seen an o2 cause a stall, I also ordered a Bosch maf because the one on it is a reman unit so who knows if it's calibrated right

I also did a fuel pump relay because they're cheap and known to fail it drove great for 2.5 days after I did all that stuff but it's back to making me feel like it will leave me stranded somewhere

The rear O2 sensor won't cause a stall, it has no feedback into the engine management. When you mention hoses, did you include the induction path? Leaks will wreak havoc on the engine running and it can come and go

Yes I repaired or replaced every hose all the intake hoses are good and the intercooler leaked and was replaced and ran smoke test to be sure it was all good. I never got codes but this issue was here before all that work was done also. The 133 is front 02 sensor slow response and 422 cat performance but the cat was replaced just before I bought the car. I guess I'll just wait for the o2 and maf and see how it goes.

The cat performance is determined by the O2 sensor reading so a bad O2 sensor could cause both.
Sorry I mixed up the P codes.
