so, error CEL came on several times last night. Arrgghhh. Connected to VIDA again and still getting that code but this is the conclusion it gave me on the Details tab: The DTC Test was not completed during current operation cycles. The condition for completion is not fulfilled. This was the constant message after continually erasing the code per VIDA. Finally, I just disconnected the battery for a few hours and it's not thrown that code yet today nor showed up when it read codes.
Replaced siren module but it's telling me that it needs to be configured. All lights start flashing like they should after having locked doors then waiting and opening the door but now siren. Sunroof erratic and is not synced properly. I thought it was a new siren I ordered off eBay but it appears to be a used one, just cleaned up nicely. Is there a configuration that the dealer needs to do? I thought it was a simple plug n play.

Battery disconnects sometimes get rid of gremlins that 10 hours of diagnostic work can't solve. Good luck with that.

Well, just to close out this thread as "Fixed" here is the latest. When I replaced the crankshaft position sensor (RPM sensor) the old one that I pulled out had the copper washer on it which I've read in numerous places must remain in place. Well, mine was not a perfect fit and it didn't allow for flush seating of the sensor. So, I've still been getting the same code and error message as usual but once I removed the copper washer it's been running fine without the error message or code so far................ I hope this is the end of my "reduced engine performance" error but if it comes back I'm just going to live with it.
