I have a B5254T3 that came out of a 2005 S40 T5 AWD GT. The engine had 124k miles at the time of the incident. The PCV failed and one or more main/cam seals blew out and the oil pickup starved for a moment on a full-throttle right-hand onramp pull. It began knocking about 5 minutes later. The bottom end will obviously need machine work if you want to reuse it.
Motor comes with everything pictured plus a leaky oil pan. I had to cannabalize the original pan, the one you'd be getting is from the replacement motor, damaged by the wrecker. The crack is tiny so if you know someone who can weld aluminum it could be repaired pretty easily. I'm including it mostly to make the motor easier to strap to a pallet.
All sensors are working except for the fuel rail pressure sensor. The replacement motor had a bad sensor so I had to swap them.
The wetness on the exhaust is just from oil dripping down the side of the motor as I rolled it over on the stand. There was a decent amount pooled in the valve cover after my mechanic had left the old filter sitting on top of the engine.
I figure I'll see if anyone wants to buy the whole thing before I pull it apart to inspect the head and sell it off piece by piece. Asking $700 plus freight. Located in Salt Lake City area.
I'll try to answer any questions about the motor as best I can.
