2005 2.5T turbo upgrade

I have spare 15G I'd like to swap into my wife's XC90. Are there any concerns in doing this if I don't get a tune?

You won't damage anything if that's what you're concerned about however you may even have LESS performance with a larger bored turbo that is not receiving more boost to achieve optimum pressure for that turbo.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, my concern is any damage. I guess I will need a tune to match the turbo. Has anyone self-tuned their ME7 using the guide over at VS called "The ME7 Project"?

I searched for that phrase on VS and couldn't find a match. Can you provide a link ? I have a 2006 XC90 2.5T and it would be very interesting to know how to modify the software for a bit more grunt.
