1995 850 cooling fan not working

Post by aleph16 »

I have a 1995 850 and the cooling only works with the ac running. I have changed the temperature sensor, the fan relay, and the fan (low speed would not run even when directly jumped to hot wire). Any ideas?

Sounds like a bad fan motor if jumping the power directly to it doesn't work.

Try jumping both ground and +12 to it just to double check. If it doesn't run then, I'd be willing to bet it has finally died.

My fan did this. I changed the temp. Sensor, the thermostat. And finally I found a good relay at the JY. At first it was stubborn. I knocked it a few times with a mallot....Walla!
