94 Volvo 940-Service Light

Post by ashjerseygirl »

I am looking to purchase a used 94 4dr Volvo Sedan 940. The car was being charged when i came to look at it, because it had been sitting for a while. We took the car for a first test drive and my mechanic said the engine and transmission were really good. But when i took the car for a second test drive i noticed the service light on for a couple of minutes and then it went off. My mechanic said it could be a sensor. Is it worth the trouble? :(

ask your mechanic which sensor. Most are not expensive to get new or used.

Also determine the fair price. Look at autotrader.com and see if you know what the going rate for it is.

The lower the price from the market value the more cushion you have to fix it up.
