Valve Cover Oil Deflector - squealing noise

Hello Volvo brains! My XC90 3.2 is engine is squealing due to failure of the Valve Cover Oil Deflector. I think this is a pretty common issue, but can find much on the subject.

My question is, should I replace the entire deflector assembly with the gasket? Or just the gasket? I understand Volvo recommend replacing the deflector every 100K miles and there was an extended warranty on this issue at some point.

Not seeing the diaphragm sold separately, likely only option is to replace the oil trap/breather box (PN 31319642) and gasket (PN 30731243). I'll update this post if I can find the diaphragm separately.

It's actually the diaphragm in the PCV (round valve on top). You need to replace the whole box. It is also referred to as the AirBox by some dealers.

It's going to take a few days to get the parts. Should I completely avoid driving it until it's fixed?
