Fuel Trim - Question on dice information

Post by kevins s70 »

I have a 2007 XC70 which started running rough this morning and the check engine lite came on. This happened a few weeks back and I replaced the MAF which seemed to fix it. With dice attached and I am getting ECM 216D "fuel trim bank 1 signal too low". My understanding is that fuel trim should ideally be 0 calculated against the baseline information. I read this morning that the battery needs to be disconnected to clear fuel trim information and should be done whenever a problem related to fuel trim is fixed.I have not done that yet. I have shown the information from dice below and am confused. Bank 2 information is 99.0% and it doesn't throw a code? Appreciate any insight into this.

Short term fuel trim, bank 1 -21.88%
Short term fuel trim, bank 2 99.22%
Long term fuel trim, bank 1 -14.06%
Long term fuel trim, bank 2 99.22%

You don't have bank 2.

Positive fuel trim says you have a vacuum leak. Check all vacuum hoses one by one or blow in some smoke.
