sudden power loss Euro iV D5

Post by maartenr »

Hi All,

New here on the forum, but driving the v50 for a few years now.
The car (v50 D5 IV, D5244t8) is driving awesome, however, it sometimes suffers power loss, noticeable driving speeds over 180kmh.

The car will 'fall down' to ~180km/3500rpm, for a variable time, sometimes a few seconds, sometimes more then 60 seconds.
No lights on the dash when it happens, the swirl valve has ben replaced already, no improvement.

Vida shows an ECM-2B00, sensor has been replaced, but the error keeps appearing, but I can not tell for sure if they are related (I don't like looking at a laptop while driving speeds over 180kmh).

Does this issue sound familiar, someone else having/had such an issue?

Thank you for your replies and or suggestions!

Maarten
