I'm actually pretty careful about chemicals! And now that NYC takes it four times a year, I take advantage of that stuff! But yes, I think I'll drop off some bottles next time I drive up to Albany. Hey everyone, just wanted to update this:
2K miles later. No sludgy sediment at the bottom of my expansion tank. So yes, sludge can get stuck into the crevices of the expansion tank.
