Misfire code #3 cylinder Topic is solved

Hello everyone,
New to the forum first post. My 2002 v70 ran great till yesterday was going over the pass 11000 ft elevation and the car started running rough. Now runs with a misfire in #3 cylinder. I am getting a clicking sound under the airbox, is it a coil or I am missin something? Thanks for the help in advance

How many miles on plugs and coils?

At 100k you replace both if you want to run on the PM model , ie, minimal failures

106,000. I owned from 68,000.

This car uses a coil on each cylinder so you can try moving number 3, or buying a new set, de[ending on the usual time/ money value proposition. At 100k and 15 years, you are shuffling off your mortal coils..

Thank you abscate. I did both things you recommend. It was 100 percent #3. I bought new coils. Spark plugs next week. Runs like a top. Much appreciated.
