Constant Brake Failure message

Post by Decra69 »

Hi All

I am getting the Brake Failure message coming up - the sensors are all reading incorrectly at the same time - this is obviously an electrical malfunction - I had the ignition problems which was fixed by the mechanic - he now thinks this is causing the error message and wants to source a new ignition system to repair the problem - I don't have the network codes

Any ideas? Where can I source a complete ignition from?

Regards

Mark

Not sure it's a good idea to start replacing parts because the mechanic 'thinks'.

The message can come from various areas, for example there is a brake relay on the CEM that can go bad. Just an example. Perhaps google up and scroll through the many available topics on such issue and try to check each thing, before replacing it.
