The definitive P80 Power Steering Pump Pulley Tool: Lisle 39000

Post by theWIFES_S70 » Thu Nov 16, 2017 10:16 pm

Don't know what it was about this puller that inspired confidence. But after a little back and forth (and installing this thing wrong a few times) I was able to pull the pulley off. This was off a 95 850 so the pulley was wedged on there for over twenty years!! It was $50 though... I will have to replace my brother's power steering pump one day... and he's got two P80s so maybe it'll pay for itself?

For removing part 1397645

Power steering pump pulley -1998

1999 o;pulley unbolted but it’s a junkyard search for that pulley, NLA from Volvo

You can get replacement composite pulley by DORMAN 300-319
