1995 Volvo 850 Turbo TRAC and ABS light

would like to say hello and that I will be new to these forums.

We got a 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo with TRAC and ABS lights on. I did look around and people say the ABS module will fail however that's for the 1996 and up. I have not found anything for 1995. I plugged in my ODB2 scanner and got no codes. The car has had those lights on for a long time now just thought it would be good to look into and get fixed.

Agreed -- it is less likely to be a cracked solder joint in the module.

You might have a damaged sensor or dirty rings as described below for the '95...

On my 95 those lights are intermittent but its pretty common for them to come on. I've cleaned the ABS sensors with no luck. Let me know what works for you, maybe it'll help me too.

You have a dtc box under the hood that will tell you what's wrong. Pull the codes and see what they say.

. Anything you recommend me using to clean it? Hope that this will fix it lol

Will do I hope cleaning them fixes it if not I would guess the sensor might be bad or the ABS module failed.

Any scan tool you recommend I use to scan for those codes? I did try my ODB2 scanner however they showed everything was good.

Thought I should share this too the lights sometimes won't come on once you start the car however once you start to drive they come it.

No.

You actually have a box under the hood that will tell you the codes. It is your dtc box.
