G’day fellas from Tasmania – I hope this is the best place for an introduction – if not I guess it will be moved. A few months ago I bought a Lunar Gold XC90 V8 2007, about 170k km (105k miles). Pretty happy so far with no obvious Swedish gremlins showing up but I am sure they are lurking, just like in my Saab, waiting, waiting. Had a couple of long trips already and getting surprisingly good economy – 11-12 l/100km (21.4-19.6 mpg).
Now, I’ve been reading a lot of posts on this and other forums to try and increase my XC90 knowledge (which wasn’t hard since it started from zero) and sunroof drains get quite a lot of comments. Sounds dead easy to check so I will be doing that. But – I’ve seen no mention of rear drains for the sunroof. I assume there are some? Where do they exit?
Secondly, because the front end resembles a brick (admittedly a very pretty brick) it gets a lot of stone and bug flak. Are there bras (masks) or bonnet (hood) shields to protect the bluff front? I’ve been looking at various accessory sites and not coming up with anything.
Nice to tap into a forum where language, manners and courtesy not only get mentioned but are staples alongside technical help. Cheers!

Bra/Cover? Never seen such a thing for a XC90. You're on an island state, you might approach a custom boat cover outfit and get one custom made for your luxury land yacht
I'm unsure whether the front parking sensors will work properly through a cover. Cover the sensors with remnant/samples of the material and test before you commit to making holes for them.
