2002 S60 non-turbo

Okay, the two issues aren't really related except that it may be a computer issue.

First the highbeams: When I pull the stalk back to flash the high beams, the lights just stay on and I have to flick again to get them to turn off. I'm not pulling past the detent.

Second problem: When I turn the blower fan off and then back on, the A/C comes on. If the A/C is off when I shut the car off, it stays off. However, if I rotate the knob all the way left to turn the fan off and then turn it back on, the A/C comes on.

Thanks.

First sounds like a flasher relay fault

The second might be normal latched AC operation , maybe a video of the exact issue would help clear that up.

Flasher relay or high beam relay? Assuming high beam relay, where's that located?

"Latched" A/C operation? I'll dig out the Super 8 camera and make a movie.
