My 2015 S60 T6 started with a squeaking noise (like a belt squeaking) and then the RPM increased to 2000 rpm sitting in park. Once that happened the check engine light came on. I'm at a loss, please help.

You probably have already gotten this fixed since the post was back in December but I suspect your issue was with the oil trap/pcv system. You don't mention which engine or how many miles you have on the vehicle.
There is a diaphragm on the oil trap that loses it's elasticity over time and makes it hard for the vehicle to control the right amount of air/fuel.
Search IPD's video on youtube. They have a video that explains how the system works.
