Ok Help Again!

Geeze you would think I am a total idiot sometimes. I found aluminum rims that are pretty nice. The man said he had 245/50/16' s on these rims. I believe he said they are 16x8 rims? Does this sound right? Is the Volvo lug pattern a very specific pattern or will it line up with other 5 lug rims?

As far as I know all 5 bolt rims are the same bolt pattern for 850's and 70 series. Make real sure they are not the '93 4 bolt rims. 245/50/16 does, however, set off some alarm bells. Mine are 205/50/16s and I think my rims are 16"/6.5". You very well might have some rubbing issues with a wider tire.

I think these rims are to big and the tires that go on them are to big. I will keep looking ... its no rush really I need to deal with the clutch situation first and than rims. I am a little shocked after talking with a Volvo dealer today. Those guys in the parts dept. seem to be glorified parts changers and that is about it. I just had a few questions ... lol not interested unless I bring the car in to be put up and charged for it of course!

Wheel are too wide, the tires are too big (they will hit) and the bolt pattern is 5 X 108, a rather rare pattern

Thank you for the post regarding the bolt pattern. It will make my shopping a little easier.
