Why should you have any trouble though unless the battery is shot? It's not like - 25 is an extreme temperature in any way.

That airbag warning though.. :-)

-13F for us Colonists

That's pretty cold. You will notice things start and sound differently.

In good tune and good battery no problems

5 year old battery might well croak at this temp

Not until you mentioned it :D

But the words SRS and Urgent together on the trip computer display is nothing I'd like to see myself :-)

Same temp here this morning in northern maine.
I bought a $200 battery this winter.
Starts fine.
Snowblower was the bigger concern, got a Honda clone 8hp engine last month from HF.

Volvo fire up so quickly when in fine condition anyway. Battery is only under duress for 2 secs.

My 2001 S60 previous owner was from Montreal and she probably got a heater pad installed when she moved up here; https://mercedessource.com/store/engine ... lation-kit

Also, I have a battery maintainer hooked up to the battery which I turn on when it gets too cold. I would prefer a battery blanket/warmer but not much room on the left hand side.
