09 V50 engine oil drain plug

09 V50 engine oil drain plug

I just purchased this car, and I tied to drain the engine oil .I could not undo the drain plug. Is the screw thread left handed or did the previous owner get superman to tighten the plug?

Sounds like he supermanned it. I would get a box wrench and hit it with a hammer...it comes off the same way any drain plug would (same direction).
