Hi all!

I recently purchased a 1998 Volvo V70 T5 with a MANUAL transmission! I have owned a few older 240's and 940's, but nothing like this before. The story is was that it was owned by a Volvo fanatic/collector back east for most of its life.

I was really interested in knowing the production/import numbers on these into the US, as I'm sure it can't be many. Does anyone have any info/links on that?

The vehicle has 220k miles, has been very well maintained, and looks, runs, and drives beautifully. And I paid a whopping $500 for it. :D

Welcome! Stick shifts are not rare but probably only made up 5-10% of import volume in the U.S.

You just missed the best year got the T5, the 1999. :-)
