So a FLIR style camera?

Yep! ... look for hot spots where there should be none.
Also the wire would be hotter on one side of the short, cooler on the other side if the short.

UPDATE MARCH 18' since a $220 FLIR camera was a tad above my temporary disability budget.... I've continued the fix attempt, I found a jumper wire from the load side of one fuse to the power side of another, it was #20 and 21, high beam fuses. I removed it and found I have no right side high beam but I have blinkers now ... For about 5 to 15 minutes, then the fuse blows ... Again
I put it up for sale locally, gawd there are a lot of flakey people out here... Still have the vehicle and want to donate it for a tax deduction ... Would like to learn a way to find power draws on a circuit or a grounded circuit, I have a multi meter, if you could help great.
I've replaced so far, emergency flasher with internal relay on dash, high beam / turn signal on column, $40 dollars worth of bulbs so they can have the same amp draw, cleaned all sockets, replaced lens as necessary, chased wiring where obvious previous damage was on right front, chased possible grounded wires in wagon door from "stretching" ... Along with the fuse jumper issue just mentioned, I got nothing so far
Thanks,
Terry

I’ve used a couple “alternative” expressions under the dash...
And then they get upset when there’s a labor charge involved
“Just to return it to stock!?!”. Good Times... 8)
