VIDA 2014D Username Doesnt work Topic is solved

After much frustration I have 2014D and 2014D patch installed.
I can launch VIDA and I get to the Main Page where it asks for Username.
I input one of the two usernames I have seen here on the forum... 1 or admin.... Press Login and a 'Please Wait' note comes up with a horizontal indicator.....Indicator gets about 50% across, and then disappears, leaving username.
It seems like it is trying to validate the Username but fails
If I type an known incorrect username, such as 'Administrator' I get this error message
Unknown error:
Please contact your local Helpdesk

Running Windows 7 Pro 32Bit
4GB Ram
Tried all combinations of IE, 8, 9 & 11. Tried Chrome IE Tab.... Exactly same behavior

I'm now getting frustrated, as seems everyone else who attempts to install and use VIDA. Hopefully one of the experienced hands on this forum can tell me what Danglepin Knob I need to tweak to get VIDA 2014D to work.

Problem Solved
The 2014D license expired at 12/31/2017.
See the thread below for downloadable patch that solved my issue.
