I'm inclined to think that a few motor mounts might be the culprit, but can not determine what ones.

Shimmy upon acceleration
Hello all, I am having a terrible time trying to find out why my car is shaking and shimmying on acceleration. I have replaced the control arms last year. This year replaced tires, outer tie rods, CV Joints pass/driver, front rotors and pads. The car was shaking before I replaced the CV joints as well. I know other posts say that this is the problem.

How many miles? Was it doing it even with new control arms just installed? Some brands don't last 6 months
But if that happened even with new arms, I would look first into the engine mounts, usually the lower (front of the engine) and the upper (top of the engine) torque mounts.
If those don't look too bad, I would think about misfire. Maybe an ignition coil (no need to replace them all, unless they've already been replaced with some random brand). Or a faulty spark plug or injector (but you should get a check engine)
Lastly, look into the big subframe bushings and check the 18mm bolts plus the 14mm bolts at the two rear brackets.

Not too sure on the control arms, definitely not misfiring, had the coil pack replaced on one and spark plugs replaced on all. engine sounds fine. I'm leaning towards the left engine trans mount under the battery box. Or the lower torque mount.

Inner CV's that are worn can do this too...in my case ('07 S40) I ended up replacing the entire axle on the passenger side. That solved the problem.
