vida 2012a cant log on

4 years ago i had a 2000 v70xc . i bought a vida dice and got it installed on an old laptop running xp ... it worked perfectly..then i sold the car ...roll on to now, just bought a 2009 xc70 and got a warning on the dash so i dust off the old laptop and try to connect to the car ....i cant get by the log on page ...it just wont log on... any ideas on how to get it to work?

and will the copy of vida i got be ok with my car?

right then ...installed the 2012b patch but still a popup saying cant find is.volvocars.net and wont let me go any further

Is Vida installed in a Virtual Machine (VM) or native?

if native means that its the laptops operating system then yes its installed on an old laptop running xp

installed the 32bit 2014d patch and it no longer brings up the wsl login page butnow the progress bars get to the end and just reset

I would wipe the drive clean and do a fresh install using the new patches. That way I know where everything is at

thanks for the help but i couldnt get it to work ...but now it doesnt matter as i downloaded an disc image from this forum and got it working in a virtual machine on my current laptop...thanks again
