Just added some to my 99 v70R with 142K. Hoping to buy some time on my vvt/exhaust cam seal.
If it works even for a while I’ll probably make it regular for the sake of my not-yet leaking exhaust valve stem seals. Exhaust valve failure due to seal leakage seems to be biggest danger to the internals of my engine type as I gradually approach 200K.
ATP-205 works!

My front cam seals were very hard & crusty when replaced a few years back. They were leaking. I'd never replaced them. Not sure if shop did them either on TB change.jtp wrote: 12 Feb 2018, 19:26 Just added some to my 99 v70R with 142K. Hoping to buy some time on my vvt/exhaust cam seal.

Your second post got me to thinking. I've never used 205 in the engine oil. Sled motor doesn't burn any oil at ~ 226kmi. Might be good preventative maintainence however.
I am using M1 HM oil which I believe contains 'seal conditioners' however.

+1 on M1 HM, I changed it out for M1 0w-30 last oil change, everything started leaking.sleddriver wrote: 13 Feb 2018, 16:10My front cam seals were very hard & crusty when replaced a few years back. Going back to it this week, been running ATP-205 for maybe 100 miles so far. I haven’t had a chance to look at it’s impact yet.

BTDT with 0w-30. Oil consumption really increased. I regularly ran Shell T6 20w-50 for years. Worked great. Then when gas went through the roof, I took it down a notch to increase MPG. After doing lots of homework over on BITOG, I decided on the present fill as it ticks all of the right boxes for a turbo motor + high Tx. heat.jtp wrote: 13 Feb 2018, 18:36+1 on M1 HM, I changed it out for M1 0w-30 last oil change, everything started leaking.

I left my ATP near my cell and it turned into ADP plus energy. Some guy named Krebs came and fixed it back though.
