On my T5, attached to the board that covers the spare tire well, there is a net. Holding the net in place are several plastic hooks. What holds these hooks onto the board?

Ok, then, what is the proper name for that net? I have been trying to find it in a Volvo accessories manual, in hopes there will be some sort of after market install instructions I could read..

Sorry you didn't get any responses. Saw your post and looked at my car. Doesn't look like it's screwed in...possibly just pops/snaps into the cover. I tried to pull one out, but stopped when I thought I might break it.
Maybe next time I'm at a junkyard, I'll go a little harder on one to see if I can get one off. Otherwise, good luck with aftermarket instructions.

Thanks for the response. I couldn't feel a screw on the top side of the board, and I was also afraid to break one if I tried to pry it out.. I'm still trying to find the proper name for it, or a parts or accessory catalogue that lists it.

Much thanks - yes, that is what I have exactly - part #8. If possible, could you send the parts' names? Maybe if I have the names of those clips I can order them from somewhere.
The original board's carpet was stained badly, so I found a better board, sans all of the T5 parts on the other board. I thought about swapping the carpet, instead of the parts, which would require careful drilling of mounting holes I don't have in the swap board, but the carpet wouldn't come off the original board. So which is easier to swap, teh carpet or those #8 clips?

I'm guessing you've already tried cleaning the carpet with something strong?
I'll get the part names and numbers for you tonight.
Personally I'd probably go for cleaning enough so that you're sure it won't stain anything then getting a new carpet to cover the entire floor or something. I've got the OE plastic floor cover so I don't even know off hand how my carpet looks..

Thanks much, Yeah, I tried to clean it but it looks like the PO spilled something petroleum back there, maybe kerosene, and then tried to clean it with something that made it worse.
