Hello, I just bought my second Volvo wagon, a 2004 v70 AWD Turbo. It seems to be a trend now. Here's my question....the cars paint code is 449 Mistral Green Pearl. The car is blue. On the touch up paint page from Volvo, the Mistral Green is very light green, not blueish at all. My paint looks more like Barents Blue pearl. Am I missing something here? Thanks, Andy

That mistral green is a beautiful color and I think it does have blue character.

Another example of mistral green (my car):
It can have a bluish/ gray appearance for sure, depending on the lighting conditions.

Those both look like my color. I've been trying to upload a picture but can't seem to do it.

It can have a bluish/ gray appearance for sure, depending on the lighting conditions.
Carfax reports my car as "Greygold Metallic" when originally purchased - but I think that was a mistake someplace, it does not appear to have been repainted at any time. Later in the docs it says "color noted as green", but I never knew the factory name.
I've been in a low intensity argument with my wife regarding whether it's blue or green since I got it - and it definitely looks gray under some lighting - particularly parking lot lights.

Your wagon looks exactly like mine. Hard to see green in it but...

My car looks just about like 850LPT's pic, but with different wheels and 'roof ribs'.
(will post a pic when I get some credits, but I've been lurking for a while)
