I had a major power steering leak at the power steering container, lower hose was spewing steering fluid everywhere, that coated the belts and pulleys all over that area. Now the belts are squeaking and the engine sounds off, like there is a slight struggle keeping rpms even. Everything was perfect before this leak.
Could that have cause the power steering pump to break? Is it just the oil coating everything making it squeak?

The squeaking is likely caused by the power steering fluid on the belt, if it hasn't been cleaned off. I would clean all the pulleys and replace the belt. Is it the belt or do you hear it from any particular area, like the power steering pump?
The issue with idle could possibly be because of the belt, but it would be a good idea to check for codes if the CEL is on. It would also be worth pulling the timing cover and making sure everything in there is clean and dry.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully I can just clean the belt and pulleys and it will stop.

I had a similar problem when my top radiator hose broke off and sprayed that end of the engine with coolant. Had to remove the serpentine belt and carefully clean all the pulleys and fit a new belt as the old one was then contaminated. Refitting will most likely have the issue just start again.
The slight faltering could happen if the oil got into the alternator.
Neil.
